If you're one of the fair few to have both an Xbox One and a Playstation 4 at this early point for both systems, Watch Dogs' May 27 release date is most likely on your radar.
For those with both systems (or those who don't yet have either but are trying to decide), the PS4 is certainly making a strong case to be your Watch Dogs console of choice.
In an interview with Sony's PlayStation EU Blog, Watch Dogs studio Ubisoft Montreal detailed one of the game's PS4-exclusive features -- control of main character Aiden Pierce's smartphone with the Dualshock 4 touchpad.
"The touch pad brought the DUALSHOCK 4 wireless controller closer to being a game style smartphone with the ease of activation, moving around and navigation," Watch Dogs Lead Game Designer Danny Belanger said. "It felt very natural. It's for comfort. The functionality of touching that most people have on their phone was something we wanted to replicate."
The Watch Dogs team is also eager to see what players can accomplish in the game and send all across the world with the PS4's Share button.
"I'm really interested to see the sort of stuff we'll get through players using the SHARE button," Animation Director Colin Graham said. "The game is perfect for that. You guys are going to surprise us and do things with the game we didn't expect."
Luckily for Xbox One owners, the world will also be able to see their exploits in Watch Dogs with the One's Upload function.
Will the extra PS4 perks entice you to purchase that version over the Xbox One version? Let us know in the comments.
