Though its developer Irrational Games is no more following Ken Levine's decision to wind the studio down, Bioshock Infinite is today getting its final DLC with Burial at Sea Episode 2. 2K Games has released a new trailer and screenshots to launch alongside the story add-on, and we have them for you below.
The Burial at Sea episodes leave the main game's setting in the sky city Columbia behind for a return to Rapture, the failed utopian city on the ocean floor where the first two Bioshock games took place. The DLC puts you in companion character Elizabeth's shoes, and Episode 2 concludes her story in Rapture.
The trailer gives the impression that this will be something of a tormenting experience for Elizabeth and the whole affair has a sort of horror vibe as she struggles to exist in this city full of dangerous people.
Burial at Sea Episode 2 is available on its own for $14.99, but can also be purchased with the season pass for $19.99. The season pass grants you access to both Burial at Sea episodes, the first DLC Clash in the Clouds and the Early Bird Special Pack, which includes ability upgrades and weapon skins.
All Bioshock Infinite DLC is available for every platform the main game is on: Microsoft Windows, OS X, Xbox 360, and PlayStation 3. Bioshock Infinite was released a year ago tomorrow to critical acclaim, but Irrational Games was dissolved in order to refine Levine's visions for game design and development team size.
