‘NieR: Automata’ Robots Keeping Next DLC Secret; Live Stream Event On April 17

"NieR: Automata" producer has announced the coming of a new downloadable content that will be connected to the mysterious apologetic machines. According to reports, the prostrating robots may be hiding the gateway to the future DLC. Take note that Platinum Games is also reprinting the Sony PlayStation 3 "NieR."

Unfinished Areas In-Game Is Really a DLC

"NieR: Automata" fans have always noted that one of the unsolved mysteries of the game is the presence of the so-called "Apologetic Machines" that guard locked doors. Fortunately, a few crafty players were able to glitch their way past these guards. It was discovered that the locked doors reveal unfinished areas. This sparked news that the robots may be keeping the future DLC a secret.

The "NieR: Automata" Producer Yosuke Saito was recently interviewed on the Japanese magazine Weekly Famitsu where he almost confirmed gamers' theories behind the guarded doors. The interviewer received many questions from readers asking about the Apologetic machines. Saito-san literally responded "D-L-C," Dual Shockers reported.

The "NieR: Automata" developers have already scheduled a live stream event on April 17. In addition, "NieR: Automata" Director Yoko Taro also sparked rumors that there will be a sequel to the game. Taro-san noted that he would like to prepare about 200 of them since Emil's quest has been very popular among its players.

PS3 Game Being Reprinted In Europe

In other news, Square Enix revealed that it would be reprinting the PlayStation 3 version of "NieR" in celebration of "NieR: Automata." Square Enix Europe currently lists the game for £24.99, Gamespot reported. As of this writing, fans may have to wait in line to get the game.

"NieR: Automata" fans should note that the original game was launched on PS3 and Xbox 360 back in 2010. Its sequel was later launched in partnership with the mind behind "Bayonetta," Platinum Games. The game was praised for its unique blend of the latter and Yoko Taro's talents.
