The "Kings Row Uprising" event for "Overwatch" is only a few days away from its scheduled launched date next week. The suspected story-driven event is expected to arrive for all platforms on Tuesday, April 11, 2017. However, it seems Microsoft's Xbox Store has probably revealed some of the new skins expected to arrive with the new update. It was reported that the game icon was temporarily replaced with some of the characters sporting different blue-colored armor.
According to several sources, the characters Tracer, Mercy, Reinhardt and Torbjorn appear to be wearing the "Overwatch" team's iconic blue and silver armor. It was also noted by Game Rant that the characters were wearing the same armor designs as the ones shown in the recently released "Uprising" comic. Fans have speculated that the new skins leaked by the Xbox Store, appear to be the standard-issued clothing for the members of the "Overwatch" team and will be included in the "King's Row Uprising" event.
Other reports also suspect that the new skins will be easier to obtain compared to the previous limited-time events. Based on the Xbox Store leaked game icon, it seems that there is nothing remarkable about the new skins, which further supports the theory that they might cost lesser than the usual top-tier ones released by Blizzard Entertainment. Fans also suspect that the "King's Row Uprising" event for "Overwatch" will also feature Legendary skins when the updates roll out.
The "Uprising" comic reportedly hinted to one of these Legendary skins in the form of Genji as he appears in the drawings in the comics. "Overwatch fans apparently believe that it might be the ninja's Blackwatch armor previewed by the latest issue. It is also public knowledge that Jeff Kaplan has teased fans with a new Widowmaker skin, as reported by Gamenguide. Based on the game director's description, it is supposedly something that fans would love. Although it was not shown in the leaked Xbox Store icon, some gamers believe it will be included with "King's Row Uprising)
The reportedly leaked "Overwatch" Xbox Store art for the "King's Row Uprising update also hints at some changes to the "King's Row" map. Fans pointed out that the background of the leaked image showcases a sunnier version of the map. The original map was set in around nighttime, which makes the artwork stand out even more.
