"Five Nights At Freddy's: Sister Location" is Scott Cawthon's latest and fifth installment to the horror survival series. Released just this October 2016, many are heaping praise on the new title as it feels like a breath of fresh air to the series, made possible by the new gameplay offered in the "FNAF: Sister Location."
Innovative 'Five Nights At Freddy's: Sister Location' Gameplay
Unlike its predecessors, the "Five Nights at Freddy's: Sister Location" gameplay is vastly different. In the previous four games, the player is stuck to one place with the sole objective of surviving five nights, each night becoming increasingly difficult from the previous one.
But successfully surviving five nights in "Five Nights at Freddy's: Sister Location" is definitely more challenging and entertaining at the same time. The player will now have access to all areas of the game. In addition, each night will offer a different set of challenge that will require a different set of mechanics to survive such as tampering with security features, hiding and crawling through tight spots such as vents.
Toned Down Frequency Of Jump Scares
Another thing that players who have played previous "FNAF" games will notice is that "Five Nights at Freddy's: Sister Location" seem to have toned down the use of jump scares a bit. Of course, they are still there but they are not as frequent as in the previous games, reports CGM.
In fact, players can avoid a whole lot of jump scares by playing the game right. But this does not mean that the new title is less scary. In fact, "Five Nights At Freddy's: Sister Location" is a lot creepier compared to its predecessors, probably the result of the perfect blend of the animatronics voices, music and the ever-present darkness.
'FNAF: Sister Location' Endings
It appears there are two endings to "Five Nights at Freddy's: Sister Location" but both does not end well for the protagonist named Mike. There is a "fake" ending which becomes available should one encounter a game over as previously reported by GamenGuide. After completing the minigame, Mike heads home to relax by watching "The Immortal and the Restless" finale on television. When the show ends however, Ennard suddenly appears and slowly approaches Mike. After that, one can only guess what happens next.
As for the normal "Five Nights At Freddy's: Sister Location" ending, this happens if the player does everything right leading Mike to the scooping room. There it will be revealed that Mike is the solution to the animatronics' problem of finding a human body to inhabit and use as a vehicle to leave the place. As Mike has been so willing the whole time, the next step would be to disembowel Mike using the Scooper and take over Mike's body. The game ends with Ennard, now inside Mike's body, admiring his reflection in the mirror. Yes, Mike's been taken for a ride but the good news is, it's the perfect setup for another "Five Nights At Freddy's" game.
