Did a new post in social media just reveal a major update about "Kingdom Hearts 3?" Fans of the popular franchise have been thirsty to learn more about "KH 3" but it seems that most of the reports out there are mere speculations. So is this new alleged update a rumor or there's truth to it?
"Kingdom Hearts 3" Release Date: 'KH 3' coming to Nintendo's new platform?
The original platform of playing "Kingdom Hearts" and "Kingdom Hearts 2" was PlayStation 2. A recent tweet from Takashi Mochizuki of the Wall Street Journal hints that some third-party developers moving titles from PlayStation 4 to Nintendo Switch.
Some 3rd told me they are moving PS4 titles to Switch. So that may suggest NVIDIA-powered Switch's spec.

Although Takashi Mochizuki did not mention any games that are moving to the new Nintendo's new platform, his post definitely raised ideas that "Kingdom Hearts 3" may be available in Nintendo Switch as well. Some fans are already baffled as to why there are so many changes being made in "Kingdom Hearts."
"It fell off the rails for me when they started pumping out [titles] for different consoles," the fan wrote in the comments section of a Reddit post. "I don't even understand the story anymore..."
'Kingdom Hearts 2' Release Date: Fans not interested in new added consoles for 'KH 3'
It seems that fans were contented with how the game was doing before, so adding more consoles to it seems pointless to them. But while some are disappointed with the upgrade, there are also fans who are just happy to finally get their hands on "Kingdom Hearts 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue" and "Kingdom Hearts 3."
The last time that fans got to play "Kingdom Hearts" was back in 2005, when "Kingdom Hearts 2" was released. While Kingdom Hearts 1" and Kingdom Hearts 2" only had a 3-year gap, "Kingdom Hearts 2" and "Kingdom Hearts 3" has an agonizing 11-year gap!
To make matters worse to those who were getting impatient, they are supposed to play "Kingdom Hearts 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue" first before finally conquering "Kingdom Hearts 3." The release of "Kingdom Hearts 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue" has been moved from December 2016 to January 12, 2017, while the "Kingdom Hearts 3" trailer revealed that "KH 3" is "currently in development."
