If reports are to be believed, the tech giant is gearing up to go head-to-head with Apple with its Microsoft Surface Pro 5. Apple MacBook Pro 2016 is also set to be released soon though none of the two tech giants have provided any official information on their respective products.
Microsoft is reportedly holding a Windows 10 event later this month. The company has teased its customer base stating it will unveil the future of the Windows 10. However, much to the surprise of its fans, Microsoft has not revealed anything on one of its highly-anticipated devices, the Microsoft Surface Pro 5 and the all-in-one Desktop PC. The Windows 10 event will in all probability focus on the developments made, features added and devices that work best with the upgraded system. Microsoft may also point out some of the cloud-based arrangements that the new operating system offers.
This feature will allow users get their Microsoft accounts on desktops, notebooks and smartphones as long as they keep running on Windows 10. It has been reported a million times that the company is taking so much time to release the Microsoft Surface Pro 5 because of the Intel Kaby Lake processor.
The heavy-duty processor is said to deliver maximum performance, improve battery and minimize power usage. As per TechAdvisor, the Microsoft Surface Pro 5 device is not expected before spring 2017. However, falling prices of the Surface Pro 4 have led many to believe that the Microsoft Surface Pro 5 may be released soon.
This may not be possible as the Intel Kaby Lake processors are not expected to arrive before end of this year. However, Microsoft may choose to go with another processor in that case. The Apple MacBook Pro 2016 may be released in October and if this really happens, Microsoft may better be ready with some worthy specs for the Microsoft Surface Pro 5 to give Apple a tough competition.
