Apple's MacBook Pro has been an immensely successful product and fans are eagerly waiting for the MacBook Pro 2016 to be unveiled this month. Reports suggest that Apple is upgrading the MacBook Pro 2016 and will reveal its specs and features during an event in late October.
Tech enthusiasts and experts believe that Apple needs to significantly upgrade the MacBook Pro 2016 as its internal hardware and physical design has not been majorly updated for a long time. If Apple wants its immense fan base to remain loyal to the MacBook Pro device, it needs to bring some advanced specs and features to the table.
In fact, much of the hype surrounding the Apple MacBook Pro 2016 is because of rumored specs and features. The eagerness is because fans want to see something exciting this time and not just a minor update.
Apple is currently working on a major update to the MacOS Sierra operating system. A report by TechRadar suggests that the Cupertino-based tech giant is customizing the operating system to make it suitable for the Retina MacBook Pro 2016.
As per the reports, the Apple MacBook Pro 2016 will sport fingerprint sensor, Touch ID sensor and an organic light-emitting diode touch bar. The physical keys could be replaced by an OLED screen and this will significantly expand Apple Pay capabilities.
The Touch ID power button, if incorporated in the Apple MacBook Pro 2016, will enable users to power on the device and verify user in one single tap. Apple could also be bringing the Apple Pencil support from the iPads to the MacBooks. Moreover, the company also needs to revamp the MacBook Pro 2016's display screen with either 4K/5K technology.
It is not known what type of processor Apple will be using in the MacBook Pro 2016. It could be the Skylake chipset, the Kaby Lake chipset or an AMD processor. The 3.5mm jack will be absent and the battery life is expected to be improved significantly, mainly because of the advanced processor.
According to The Verge, Apple could also be ditching the traditional USB ports in favor USB Type-C and Thunderbolt 3 on the upcoming MacBook Pro 2016. Stay tuned to GamenGuide for more MacBook Pro 2016 news and updates!
