Liz Keen (Megan Boone) was finally free from her captive, Alexander Kirk (Ulrich Thomsen), who also claimed to be her father in the previous episode of "The Blacklist" Season 4. Kirk's motive for kidnapping Liz and her daughter, Agnes, has also been revealed. It turns out that Kirk wanted Liz and Agnes to be with him to help cure the disease that he has. Red has confirmed that the mysterious Kirk is dying and he will need blood transfusions from a descendant to save his life. "This isn't about saving you from me. This is about saving you for him," Red said.
Now that Kirk's motive has finally been revealed, what could be in store for Liz and her family in the next episode of "The Blacklist" Season 4. Not much has been revealed for the next episode, which is titled "Gaia." Liz is still desperate for her search for Agnes and she will still be working with Red and the Task Force even more. The team is out there to put a stop to Kirk and finally rescue Agnes and let her reunite with her parents.
Based on the promo for "Gaia," Liz will still feel devastated for being separated with her baby. On the other hand, Kirk will still be the villain as he makes Agnes a captive. The trailer for "The Blacklist" Season 4 episode 4 also showed Liz and Tom getting into a serious argument - this could probably be brought about by the tension of knowing that their infant daughter has been kidnapped. There are speculations, though, that Liz and Tom's argument comes from the fact that Tom has been hired to work with Red once again.
At the end of the video, Red assured to Liz that the nightmare will soon be over for her. The team could also be right on track as Red hints that Kirk could soon be found. "We're getting close, Lizzie. It won't be long now," Red said. Will Agnes be finally saved in the upcoming episode of "The Blacklist" Season 4? Find out next Thursday, Oct. 13, 10 p.m. on NBC.
