"DOTA 2" may have something new for the fans that look to give fairness to the system. For the latest update, many heroes are confirmed to be affected-both for the necessary buffs and nerfs.
During the weekend, "DOTA 2" received patches which took place not long after a tournament in Xiamen, China. Despite having the new "DOTA 2" v6.88e coming forth, it was said that it does not come with any bug fixes to take note of.
According to The Bit Bag, over a dozen heroes face ample tone downs for the "DOTA 2" v6.88e this week. Such included, Arc Warden, Faceless Void, Axe, Keeper of the Light, Phantom Assassin and Outworld Devourer.
I Digital Times reported that some of the most notable attributes for the "DOTA 2" v.688e include the strength reduction of the Dragon Lance, as well as that of the Infused Raindrop cool down going up from 4 to 6. The Diffusal Blade cool down also went up from 2 to 4.
As mentioned earlier, the Outworld Devourer lies on the receiving end of reductions for the "DOTA 2" update, namely the base armor going down by 1.5. The same goes for the Shadow Poison initial damage which went from 50 to 26/34/42/50 respectively.
The Drow base damage is also said to have been reduced by 4, together with the Torrent damage reduced to 75/150/225/300 coming from 120/180/240/300. The Oracle base damage is also omitted by 6 for the "DOTA 2" v6.88e update-but the strengths of some are also worth marking.
Tempest Double gold and XP bounty underwent an increase, from 140 to 160 respectively. The Repel cast point received an improvement, from 0.5 to 0.35, alongside the Blinding Light's distance for knockback from 400 to 525-which "DOTA 2" players are recommended to be more attentive to.
Others include the Counter Helix damage going down to 75/110/145/180 from 90/120/150/180, as well as the Stifling Dagger cast's range from 1200 all the way to 825/950/1075/1200-the Smokescreen slow received a drop in the percentage as well to 19/21/23/25% for the v6.88e of "DOTA 2."
"DOTA 2" v6.88e is the latest update for the time being. As fans seemingly expect and foresee, a v6.89 is still yet to surface but no certainty yet has been disclosed.
Will these patch notes bring complete and undisputed balance to the system of "DOTA 2?" Keep posted for more news and updates here at Gamenguide.
