Mass Effect 3 New Single Player DLC Content: Possible Missions For Commander Shepard

Through the discovery and manipulation of Prothean technology humankind was able to develop mass effect fields. Eventually humanity discovered the mass relay and other sentient alien races. Theses advances led to faster-than-light travel and opened the vastness of space beyond our own solar system.

Bioware's Mass Effect universe has so many tales to tell. The recent teaser images at Montreal Comic Con suggest that there are a few more Shepard stories to tell and that a new single-player DLC for Mass Effect 3 could be on the way. Many already started to speculate that the DLC is going to be based on Aria T'Loak's battle to reclaim the space station Omega. Well it is official now the new DLC has been named Omega.

But what other missions could be possible for future single-player DLC?  With that in mind, here are some speculative ideas about what the future DLC could be...

OMEGA: This is the most likely DLC coming to the game. We know that there was a dialogue found in the game's coding. Aria T'Loak is one of the Mass Effect Universes' most interesting characters. Omega is haven for criminal, terrorists and people looking to get away from the law. Aria was the one person that kept the rival gangs in check. I can only imagine that these warring factions and Cerberus are battling it out on minded-out husk of a metallic asteroid.

Dekuuna: In Mass Effect 3, the Elcor request an emergency extraction for warriors and civilians trapped on their home world of Dekuuna. What if the new DLC took us to the actual battlefield? Before the Reapers, Dekuuna overflowed with natural resources and was protected by law. The planet has large deposits of precious metals and vast forests. The Elcor diplomat mentioned that the Elcor were like tanks in battle. The Elcor carry weapons typically mounted to Alliance fighting vehicles., The Elcor rely mostly on sophisticated VI combat systems.

Parnack: The home world of the towering humanoids the Yahg has yet to be explored in the Mass Effect trilogy. The Yahg are predators known for their violent and aggressive nature. They were barred from interaction with Citadel space after massacring the Council's delegation. It would be very interesting to see if there are some hidden Prothean items on their planet. The Prothean Javik claims in the game that the Yahg were smaller during his cycle 50,000 years ago. Maybe there is some reason that they grew larger that has to do with the Protheans.

Turvess: Is the home world of the Raloi, an avian species that made contact with the asari in 2184 after launching their first space telescope and discovering the Asari cruiser Azedes in their system. The Raloi wear environmental suits after getting a flu virus when first making contacts. Getting a Raloi squad member as a DLC would be pretty good. One flaw of Mass Effect 3 was the lack of squad members it is time to start adding some there are plenty of empty rooms on the Normandy.

Protheans: Back on Ilos players drive the Mako through a vast facility with Prothean stasis pods. Ilos housed the Conduit, a prototype mass relay that links to the Citadel, bypassing defenses. The Protheans went into cryostasis with the hope of stopping future cycles of the harvest. But the harvest took longer than the Protheans expected and the VI had to deactivate the pods to keep only the top researchers alive. But after playing the From Ashes DLC, we know there were other facilities with Prothean stasis pods. It would be interesting if Shepard found a small colony of Protheans on a strange planet like Parnack.
