"Humans" Season 2 spoilers are beginning to make their presence felt as fans of the AMC/Channel 4sci-fi series are preparing for the show's next season. Indeed, what can viewers expect when "Humans" season 2 air date finally arrives?
Most "Humans" season 2 spoilers are concerned with sentient synth Niska, played by Emily Berrington. In the previous season's finale, Niska was seen as secretly creating a copy of the consciousness code before she told the others that she wants to live her own life.
Now people are hooked into speculating about the possibilities that could happen when "Humans" season 2 premieres. Of course, a consciousness code could be dangerous in anybody's hands but, in the hands of a rebellious and conscious synth, it could get more complicated. Fortunately, Entertainment Weekly did an interview with "Humans" co-writers Jonathan Brackley and Sam Vincent a while back.
Apparently, the writers consider Niska to be the perfect carrier for the dangerous consciousness code. Viewers have already seen how unpredictable and dangerous she could get. Yet, the writers explain that Niska is not really evil or bad, people have already seen that vulnerable side of her. This unpredictability and uncertainty with Niska's intention should make for a very exciting show indeed when "Humans" season 2 premiere date comes.
New Actors To Join "Humans" Season 2
Incidentally, the show will have some new actors in the coming season. Sam Palladio will join the cast in the coming "Humans" season 2 premiere, reports to Digital Spy. He will play the role of Ed and will be sharing most scenes with Gemma Chan's character Mia.
Carrie-Anne Moss of the Matrix fame will join "Humans" season 2 as Dr. Athena Morrow. Dr. Morrow is an Artificial Intelligence expert who has her own ulterior motive to develop a different kind of machine sentience. "Humans" season 2 spoilers suggest that Niska would be working closely with Dr. Morrow in the coming season.
"Humans" Season 2 Premiere Date
At the moment, there is no definite "Humans" season 2 release date yet. What is known however is that U.K. will have an earlier release date scheduled sometime this year. On the other hand, the U.S. scheduled "Humans" season 2 air date will be in 2017.
