Why should the AAA games have all the fun? Indie games are just as worthy, if not more so, of getting the "Criterion" release, so to speak. Fans have definitely spoken up about the new 'Gamer's Editions' version of both Hotline Miami titles.

The crowdfunding project exceeded the company's wildest dreams and the project is now guaranteed to head into production. As such, Gamer's Edition and Hotline Miami's publisher Devolver Digital have extended the period to order the deluxe editions by two weeks. "Players yet to commit to the awesomeness of this edition now have until midnight BST on April 22 to order the fancy editions."
The physical editions of Dennaton's classic bit of the old ultra-violence, Hotline Miami and Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number comes with a DVD of both titles, Steam codes, the physical copy of the new 80 page Hotline Miami 2 comic (also available on Steam) and a whole bunch of cameo and postcards. The real jewels of the set, however, are the official 50 Blessings stencil, which you can use to tag any and everything to your heart's content (spray paint not included) and the C90 Cassette with the game's soundtrack. Cassette player is not included; but I'm sure you can find one of those on ebay.

Gamer's Edition is a new crowdfunding project that wants to give the noted but inexpensive indie titles from the past a deluxe makeover. In addition to both Hotline Miami titles, the company also attempted a Papers, Please special edition (but that one failed to meet the minimum number of pre-order copies so that it could go into production).
"We're delighted to see how well Gamer's Edition has been received", said Jon Hicks, Head of Gamer's Edition. "We've had a very enthusiastic response from developers and players, nearly all of whom understood why we weren't basing it on Midnight Animal cosplay, and the support for our Hotline Miami bundle has been accompanied by many suggestions for upcoming releases. We've been listening to feedback and updating the site throughout the campaign, and I'm very pleased we've been able to add another couple of weeks to get everybody on board before we start manufacture".
