FIFA 13 Leaks Smarter AI, Wii U Rumors, and New Features

Developers EA Sports has revealed a range of innovations for its latest upcoming game FIFA 13.

The game comes with new features giving realistic touch with improved artificial intelligence. FIFA 13 introduces game changing features like Complete Dribbling, First Touch Control and Attacking Intelligence.

"We are perfecting the best sports game in the world with innovations that capture all the drama and unpredictability of real-world football," said David Rutter, Executive Producer for FIFA 13 in a press release. "These are game-changing innovations that will revolutionize our artificial intelligence, dribbling, ball control and collisions to create a true battle for possession across the entire pitch, and deliver freedom and creativity in attack," Rutter added.

Some of the features introduced in the new FIFA 13 games include:

  1. Complete Dribbling

This has been inspired by Lionel Messi, FIFA 13 allowing a complete 360-degree dribbling system. This will enable players to face their opponent and also create one on one competition opportunities.

  1. First Touch Control

This technology will make players take control of the ball removing any near-perfect touch for all players on the pitch. It creates defensive pressure, trajectory giving opportunities for defenders to steal possession.

  1. Attacking Intelligence

Attacking Intelligence allows players to analyse space enabling them to take control in executing a game plan on the field. Players get to create, curve, or alter runs to capitalize on openings allowing them to position for new attacking opportunities.

FIFA 13 will also come with Improved Career Mode with enhanced online EA Sports FIFA and improvements for the Head-To-Head Seasons mode. It comes with multiple benefits for EA Sports Football Club, and complete authenticity with over 500 officially licensed clubs.

Rumors are circling that FIFA 13 may see a Wii U version.  According to reports from InEntertainment, the Nintendo version of FIFA 13 may debut at the E3 video game conference in June.

The Wii U version will take advantage of its revolutionary touch screen controller to display stats and standings.  It may allow for selecting certain strategic plays without your opponent viewing your selections on screen.

FIFA 13 would bring in more of the hardcore gamers crowd, one that Nintendo plans to heavily target with its new Wii U console.

FIFA 13 is set for a release this fall for the PlayStation 3 with PlayStation Move support and Xbox 360 with Kinect. The game will also be available for Wii, PSP, PS2, PS Vita, iOS, Nintendo 3DS and Windows.
