For the first time, one of Traveller's Tales' LEGO games has been confirmed for a DLC season pass.

The season pass for LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham includes access to six DLC packs, three of which will be available at the time of the game's release. Two of these packs – a Dark Knight Pack and a Man of Steel Pack – celebrate the recent live-action DC Comics movies. The third pack commemorates Batman's 75th anniversary with a collection of new skins right out of Batman's storied history.
The Dark Knight Pack adds characters from Chris Nolan's 2008 blockbuster, including the Joker, Commissioner Gordon, Bale's Batman and even Bane and Catwoman from The Dark Knight Rises. The pack adds a level that reenacts Dark Knight's epic car chase scene with Batman and the Batcycle trying to stop Joker's convoy from taking out Harvey Dent's police escort.
New Arkham Knight Release Date Confirmed
In the Man of Steel Pack, players take on the roles of Superman's parents, Jor-El and Lara as they fight General Zod's forces and safely ensconce their baby inside a pod that will take him to Earth.
In all, the season pass DLC is said to add more than 40 new characters, vehicles and achievements to Lego Batman 3's already formidable cast. The season pass costs $14.99, with each individual pack available for $2.99 each. Three DLC packs will be available at launch with three unannounced additional packs coming at a later date.
Lego Batman 3: Beyond Gotham is launching for all conceivable platforms November 11.
