Stormgate to Begin Early Access Journey on Steam in August

Frost Giant Studios has set the date for eager gamers to embark on their sci-fi fantasy real-time strategy (RTS) adventure, Stormgate, announcing its Early Access release on Steam starting August 13, 2024. The unveiling occurred during the June 2024 PC Gaming Show, accompanied by a fresh trailer introducing the game's third faction, the Celestial Armada.

New Faction: Celestial Armada

A brisk one-minute teaser showcased the Celestial Armada, depicted as a technologically advanced group of interstellar voyagers aiming to challenge the dominance of the Infernal Host faction on Earth. Described by Frost Giant as the "most original RTS faction" by its playtesters, this addition promises unique gameplay dynamics for players to explore.

Early Access Bundles Offer Added Value

Stormgate, while free-to-play, offers three distinct Early Access bundle options to enhance the gaming experience. Ranging from $25 to $60 USD, these packs include various in-game bonuses such as additional campaign chapters, hero characters, and aesthetic enhancements like army accents and shaders.

Each bundle grants players a two-week preview access window, starting from July 30, 2024, allowing them to dive into the action before the official Early Access launch. Notably, progress made during this period will persist into the full release, adding an extra incentive for eager players to jump in early.

Developer's Vision for Early Access

Frost Giant's CEO and Production Director, Tim Morten, expressed enthusiasm for the Early Access phase, emphasizing its role in fostering a collaborative relationship between developers and players. Morten believes this approach is instrumental in shaping the game's future, leveraging player feedback to refine and improve the Stormgate experience.
