To embark on the journey of acquiring the Cactuar Minion, players must first ensure they have reached level 47 and completed the level 46 Main Scenario Quest, The Black Wolf's Ultimatum. This sets the stage for the quest "Can't Do It Without U," which is the gateway to obtaining the coveted Cactuar Cutting.

The quest "Can't Do It Without U" can be initiated at the Waking Sands in Vesper Bay. Players will find themselves conversing with Wigstan, who requires the strength of the U tribe but cannot gain their audience due to his perceived weakness. Thus, he entrusts this task to the player, a proven hero of Eorzea.

Forgotten Springs

Upon reaching Forgotten Springs, players must speak with U'odh Nunh, a familiar face from the Company of Heroes. Completing his request will earn the player the trust of the U tribe and, more importantly, the Cactuar Cutting.

Once the quest is completed, players will be rewarded with the Cactuar Cutting, which can be used to summon the Cactuar Minion. This spunky little cactus is not only a nod to the iconic creatures of the Final Fantasy series but also a testament to the player's journey through the game's rich narrative and challenging encounters.

The Cactuar Minion stands as a unique collectible among the myriad of treasures in Final Fantasy 14. It represents the spirit of adventure and the bonds formed along the way.
