Players will soon be able to drive these new vehicles across various new World Circuit events, such as the Europe Sunday Cup 400 - Kyoto Driving Park: Yamagiwa.

Other new events include the Japanese FF Challenge 450 - Autopolis International Racing Course: Short Course as well as the brand new Japanese FR Challenge 450 - Autodrome Lago Maggiore: West.

The newest update also adds a new Cafe Menu that players can complete, Extra Menu No. 39: Racers of the Japanese GT (Collector Level 48 and above). On top of this, there is a new featured curation in Scapes known as "Move the camera up and down II," according to PushSquare.

Gran Turismo 7's 1.48 update will be available for players to download starting on May 29, 2924, at 11:00 p.m. PDT or May 30, 2024, at 2:00 am EDT / 7:00 a.m. BST / 3:00 p.m. JST. Polyphony Digital is hoping to attract more players and get others to get back to the game with the new patch.

The last major update to the game was made last year with the arrival of Spec II and one of the newest cars to be added was the Toyota GT-One a few months ago. However, three new cars every month were not really something that hype up players to Gran Turismo 7.

Some players are also hoping that there will be optional cosmetic parts and widebody respect for the cars in the new update.

This is particularly true for the Volvo 240 because fans want to make it go toe-to-toe with the E3 BMW M3 and Fore Sierra Cosworth that are already available in Gran Turismo 7, said The Drive.

Five New Cars and More!

Many fans of the game are looking forward to the new cars, including the Honda NSX GT500 '00 which has a new design with a lower center of gravity that was crucial in letting it become a JGTC champion.

The car in the game has been modified, including a repositioning of the transverse-mounted engine. Mounting a V-type engine in a transverse layout also helps shorten the length of the car itself but creates issues in routing the exhaust pipes that come from the two-cylinder banks.

On the other hand, the Nissan Skyline GTS-R (R31) '87 still retains the same sporty appeal of the previous generation R30 model. But the 7th generation R31 Skyline marked a drastic change in director for the line when it was first released in August 1985.

There was a growing trend in the Japanese car scene at the time that involved both the sales and general popularity of luxury outfitted "high-society cars." Due to this, the Skyline was made into a luxury saloon, according to the PlayStation Blog.
