There will also be more Multiplayer maps, Incline and Das Gross, that will be added to the game later in the season. The update adds new modes, including Demolition, Hyper Cranked, Cache, Mutation, Headshots Only, and Havoc, bringing some fresh gameplay experience to players.

Other than the new maps, Season 4 is also adding new weapons, including an old fan-favorite, the Kar98k marksman rifle that is available in the battle pass. Other new arms include the Superi 46 and the Reclaimer 18, according to IGN.

There are also eight all-new Aftermarket Parts that will be coming throughout the weeks ahead in Season 4. The Loitering Munition is a brand new eight-kill Killstreak for 1,000 score. This features a drone hovering over the targeted area while carrying an unmanned rocket.

During each activation, the drone selects the targeted location that has the largest number of viable targets to bombard with rockets and can be activated up to three times. On the other hand, the I.M.S. is a seven-kill Killstreak for 875 score.

The Intelligence Munitions System is equipped with four smart explosives that are capable of eliminating enemy personnel and vehicles within its range. When players trigger the IMS, it ejects an explosive upwards, which will then lock onto its target and propel towards it.

The patch notes also revealed some weapon balancing for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, including a nerf to the highly popular BP50 assault rifle. This particular gun now has a 4% decrease in movement speed and sprint speed and a 13% reduction in the maximum damage range, said GameSpot.

Other than those, the BP50 assault rifle also has 11% less near-medium damage as well as an 8% decrease to the medium damage.

There are also several submachine guns that were buffed to have increased damage ranges, including the FJX Horus, the RAM-9, AMR9, Rival-9, Striker-9, Striker, and the WSP-9.

The major update also implements some corrections to a few perks in the game, including an issue with the Gunslinger Vest that caused Throwing Star kills not to refresh stamina.

This also includes the issue that caused Throwing Star kills not to trigger health regeneration while equipping the Compression Carrier Vest.

What's also worth noting with the latest patch is a Gundam collaboration that Activision previously announced with three new bundles. They will be available in the in-game store throughout Season 4 at unspecified dates alongside a Gundam-themed event.

Also, if you equip the Gundam skins during this event, you will be able to get a boost to your progress, according to Polygon.
