The large fund will help support the placement of more than 4,000 veterans in new jobs so that they can make a living. The new DLC that is out is the Call of Duty Endowment Knight Recon Tracer Pack for Modern Warfare III, and Warzone Mobile, along with the Regulator pack for Call of Duty: Mobile.

In particular, the Knight Recon DLC includes operator skins, weapons, a weapon charm, a calling card, and tokens for double experience points, among other bonuses. The operator skins that are featured in this pack are the "Vanish" and "Lancer" skins, according to GameSpot.

What's more, this particular DLC for the game will be available for free for all active United States military members and veterans. On the other hand, the Regulator DLC for Call of Duty: Mobile includes a new female operator, Splicer, a new vehicle skin, a calling card, and others.

All of the net proceeds for the veteran-themed DLCs will be going to the Call of Duty Endowment but pricing has not yet been revealed. However, these bundles normally sell for $10 each.

The publisher also announced that it was partnering with USAA for an in-game event known as U Assist Veterans. This would run from May 8, 2024, to May 22, 2024, and will have players in Modern Warfare III and Warzone working together to complete various objectives that result in donations to the endowment.

The senior director of the Call of Duty Endowment, Helene Imperiale, said in a statement that this year marks the endowment's 15th year anniversary. She added that they are making this one of the biggest Military Appreciation Months ever, said Forbes.

Donating to Charity To Help Veterans

Imperiale also said that they are looking to place more than 15,500 veterans into new jobs through their fundraising efforts in 2024. She added that they are hopeful the community will rise to the challenge and have fun calling in those UAVs and playing with the Knight Recon pack.

Griffin, who was responsible for the $2.5 million donation, said that he was proud to support military veterans who have given years of their lives to defend the country. He described these men and women as the very best of the nation's enduring values.

Since it was first launched in 2009, the endowment has already placed more than 125,000 veterans in new jobs. This is equivalent to 23 veterans being placed in new jobs every day over the last decade and a half.

The funding has created more than $7 billion in economic value for United States and United Kingdom veterans and their families. The average cost to place a veteran in a job last year was $618, which is roughly 1/13th of the cost per placement of the U.S. government's efforts, according to GamingTrend.
